Bio
I was born in Pisa in 1995.
I spent summers in Llanidloes, Wales, with my mother.
I still remember the darkroom in my grandfather’s house.
I was eight when I watched a blank sheet turn into a picture.
I studied medicine in Pisa because I thought I needed a "real" job.
I graduated in 2018 and moved to Oxford.
I felt lonely.
Two years later, I returned to my hometown.
I started taking pictures to deal with myself.
In 2020, I moved to Rome to study documentary photography.
Photography taught me to sit with my loneliness.
I like staring at houses and wondering what’s inside.
I like talking to strangers. I like being on the road alone.
I love my dog and Francesca.
I love playing tennis.
I love my parents, but sometimes I need to leave.
When I was a kid, I stole a firework from a shop.
I didn’t light it. I felt guilty for weeks.
